Subject: Little ideas

Well, this is my first message ever in a mailing list so I hope I am 
doing this right.  Ahem...

Here's a couple little ideas I did while we were playing a while ago.  
The players were being chased by some American marauders in a truck.  
The players were in two trucks, one they had just found.  Their older 
one was in such bad shape, I had to give them a better one or they'd be 
on foot, and I wanted to move them to a different region.  Anyway, they 
came up over a hill with the bad guys hot on their trail.  The driver of 
the crappy truck had to make a driving test, as there was an abandoned 5 
ton truck right in front of him, over the ridge of the hill.  He missed, 
as the crappy truck had some pretty loose steering, and he plowed right 
into the 5 tonner.  When he looked up, a corpse fell out of the back of 
the truck and onto his windshield.  Their other truck came to a stop 
over the ridge, and they had a little shootout with the guys they were 
hoping to escape from.  When they finished, they got to looking around. 
There were a couple other 5 ton trucks here, on this side of the hill.  
All the trucks were loaded with guns and ammo.  And corpses.  No obvious 
signs of death.  Then they spotted a crashed helicopter a little further 
down the hill.  then one of them decided to climb the far end of the 
hill and look down.  There he noticed he wasn't on the top of a hill 
actually, but the edge of a crater.  Needless to say, they players 
dropped their radioactive guns and ammo, and cancelled their plans to 
have two 5 ton trucks to haul it all away on.  It was probably one of 
the hardest things they ever had to do, leave all that perfectly good 
stuff behind.. perfectly good except the radiation anyway.
